Do I have to have an audition or be able to read music?
No, you don’t have to audition, be able to read music or be a good singer; we just want you to LOVE singing!
What age of people can be in Community Voice?
This choir is open to everyone regardless of age! Anyone under the age of 14 needs to be accompanied at all times by an adult member.
What sort of songs will we sing?
We sing a wide variety of music; pop and rock, classical and some lovely songs in Welsh! It will usually be in three part harmony and there will be words and music to take away.
How much do Sally's Angels Community choirs cost?
The first session is free, and after that there is a monthly payment of £23 for adults and £13 for students payable by standing order.
What does the monthly cost cover?
The rehearsal fees covers the costs of paying the leader and accompanist; music, performing licences for all the songs that we use as required and other administrative costs and expenses incurred in the day to day running of a business.
What do we wear to sing?
For our concerts, we will wear a Sally's Angels T shirt in the colour of your vocal part. We also have You can also buy choir hoodies, sweatshirts and other merchandise on offer. You can wear whatever you like to rehearsals!
Is there a Sally's Angels Community Choir near me?
We are currently up and running in Bassaleg, Pontyclun and Radyr and are always looking for new locations in which to sing songs and raise smiles!
