At Sally's Angels, we're all about promoting and celebrating the power of Song.
Whether we're bringing singing to life in a community thanks to large non-auditioned choirs, providing first class vocal entertainment at a wedding or function or providing music to act as support at difficult times, we believe in the power of the voice to invigorate and motivate, soothe and heal.
Our journey began in 2018 when Sally brought the first singers of Simply Singers, a close harmony group of singers, together to celebrate song. Soon after in 2019, Sally's Angels Bassaleg was formed- the first of our community choirs boasting 100 members who relish singing together each week.
As our plans were delayed in 2020, we took to zoom and met each week in our virtual choir, Sally's Angels Global to connect with each other through the screen and to continue making music however we could.
In 2021, our second community choir Sally's Angels Pontyclun was launched, and in 2022, Sally and Beth brought song to St. David's Hospice, Malpas with Hospice Harmony.
2023 saw the launch of Sally's Angels Radyr and saw a new leader appointed, and 2025 will see Sally's Angels Risca join the family, led by Jen Ord.
Our choirs have performed at a number of events, including a joint 'Night at the Musicals' concert in St. Woolos Cathedral, headlining the open day at Glastonbury Abbey, sold out Christmas concerts, Remembrance day parades, community singing, charity fundraising and more, having raised more than £15,000 for our nominated charities.
